The George, Witham We took over The George in 2010. The pub and restaurant was refurbished and the new look George was

Dating back to the early 1500's The George Coaching Inn was located further down Newland Street, which is now known as Witham Town Hall. In the 1780's saw the George move to its current premises after its fortunes changed by the passing coaching trade. More recently the George was featured on ITV's XFactor whereby Olly Murs used to sing Karoake and performed his first amateur gig.
