For Sunday lunch tomorrow we have a choice of Beef, lamb, pork or nut roast. Or a mixture of meats for those who can’t decide.

Hello everyone. As some of you may already know we are having a few issues with staffing at the Duke of York.

Unfortunately my part time kitchen staff are currently working full time to cover the gaps and this is not sustainable long term.

Therefore we will shutting on Mondays and Tuesdays from next Monday
14th, through October and November, and re opening seven days a week at the start of December.

If I find a solution before December then I will open seven days before that. Thank you all for your understanding.

I’m the meantime it is steak night tonight! I have a few spaces left. Two steaks and a bottle of wine for £42! As well as our main menu and specials.

Good morning all!

Huge thanks to the wonderful Crazy Goat, for keeping us all entertained last night.

Today we have PAP playing from 2-4 and the Hatherleigh all stars performing from 8-10.

It’s going to clear up later! But if it doesn’t we can all squeeze under the tent.

It’s the first day of the Iddesleigh beer festival today!

Music tonight comes from local folk band Crazy Goat and starts at 8pm.

Hello everyone!

Our Beer festival starts this Friday and we have plenty of entertainment for you over the weekend!

On Friday night we have folk band Crazy Goat from 8pm.

On Saturday afternoon from 2-4 we have the ukulele music of Hatherleigh’s very own PAP! They won’t tell me what it stands for so you will have to turn up to find out.

On Saturday evening we have the latest iteration of the Hatherleigh all stars! Featuring yours truly pretending to be John Bonham and the Rev Leigh Winsbury pretending to be Robert Plant. It should be worth a watch.

On Sunday we have out traditional set of pop favourites performed in an unusual fashion from Mr Dave Holwill!

We also have a performance of some classic Goons material from the three Petes! It’s not to be missed!

As well as that we have 10 ales to try and food all weekend.
