The August Bank Holiday weekend is a very special one for us, as 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵’𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗺𝘆 ❤️

We’re very much looking forward to being there to celebrate this amazing occasion with them and welcoming Amy into the Turner family 🙌🏻

At 1pm, the 𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐥𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡 and the 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐥𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡 come together once again for our annual charity cricket match — a brilliant tradition full of fun, friendly rivalry and true community spirit, all in support of a fantastic cause.

This year we’re raising funds for 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨, a charity close to many of our hearts. We all know someone who has been impacted by cancer, and this year we have friends and family especially dear to us who are facing that battle. 𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲’𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦.

A heartfelt 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐔 to The Kings Arms Winkleigh, Seven Stars Winkleigh, and Sam's Cider for kindly donating a barrel each to help boost today’s fundraising. Your generosity keeps this community tradition going strong and makes a real difference in raising more funds for 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨.

Join us for an afternoon of cricket, great food and community spirit as we take on our friends from Seven Stars in our annual charity cricket match!

This year we’re proud to be raising money for ChemoHero – Kindness in a Box, helping provide chemotherapy care packs to local patients when they need them most. Every penny raised will make a real difference.

⭐️ APPRENTICE OF THE YEAR ⭐️

Huge CONGRATULATIONS to our amazing Taylor! Apprentice of the Year 2026 for the Level 3 Hospitality Supervisor apprenticeship. This award proudly sits alongside Taylor winning Apprentice of the Year award in 2025 for Level 2 Hospitality Team Member.

Taylor is 100% committed to learning her trade and works so very hard at being the absolute best and we are very proud of her and her achievements so far.

As Taylor’s employer we would like to thank exetercollege for their incredible Hospitality set up and teaching staff, it really is a special place to learn with superb learning support.
