Village club Ideally situated in the centre of Witchampton ‘The Club’ (as it is known to the locals), celebrated its 100 year anniversary this 2009.

Ivy House was built in 1580 and retains some of the original features and these have been blended in with the recent refurbishments. There is always a warm welcome to new and existing members and if you are in the area please drop in and sample the fantastic choice of real ales and food and sample some of the local atmosphere. The Club is run by me(Hayley) and a fantastic team that that are dedicated to making your visit enjoyable. There is always something going during the week and weekends. Entertainment ranges from Live Bands, Discos, and regular themed events to Bingo on a Sunday evening. The Club offers home cooked food and the favourites are The Sunday Carvery and The Wednesday Night Fish n Chips. We only use Fresh English Meats and Fresh Fish from the North Sea.

A little update from Witchampton Social Club ❤️

Following a recent change in arrangements, the committee will be taking care of things in the interim. We'd love everyone to keep coming along, supporting the club and enjoying everything that makes our Club such a lovely place to be. The bar is open as usual, and don't forget Sunday lunch and Big Card Bingo this weekend! Plus Meat Draw tonight as usual.

We thank Maria and Sean and wish them all the best for the future.

This Saturday night it’s the return of BIG CARD BINGO with an enormous jackpot of £700! We’ve got the evergreen host with the most ‘Justin Bignell’ who’ll be guiding us through proceedings with his unique showmanship. Think Larry Grayson meets Julian Clary! Everyone welcome. It’s Halloween so dress up if you like. Only members can win jackpot but lots more to be won. Tell your friends please.

Dates for your diaries everyone!

Sat Oct 31st BIG CARD BINGO with the host with the most our very own Justin Bignell. Think Brucey with a splash of Barrymore and you’re halfway there. Huge prizes to be won.

Sat Nov 7th we have our very own Rock God Legend David Tricky bringing his unique takes on all the great Rock covers from the ages. Think Freddie Mercury with a splash of Coverdale. Raizing Steam!

Sat Nov 21st Another superb local band ‘Stumble’ are at the club. Local lass Tracey is one hell of a singer! These guys also really rock and will really bring the house down.

Sat Nov 28th local lad Elliott is back with another of his brain twisting quizzes. This was so so popular last time and packed to the hilt so we advise booking a table early for this one as you honestly couldn’t move last time.

Sat Dec 12th Country Tones… this band of musical troubadours are in the area with their superb Country Rock vibes. They have the meanest Pedal steel player you’ll ever hear supplemented with the most beautiful three part harmonies. A splash of The Eagles with a little Gram Parsons thrown in.

Let’s use the club or we’ll lose the club. Great selection of boozes. All welcome. Tell your friends and please share. See you all there. ❤️

Tuesday 27th October we have retired GP and all round top bloke Tony Benson giving a refresher talk on how to use a defibrillator, CPR and raising awareness of cardiac arrest in the club starting at 7.30pm. Always good to know and potentially a life saver. Bar will also be open. See you there ❤️

This Saturday (Oct 17th) the brilliant Tom Clements will be playing his unique take on popular songs. Tom is so good live and if you fancy few drinks and a listen to one of the finest performers on the south coast don’t miss this one. Music from 8pm

Sat Nov 7th local legend David Trickey brings the glamour and his tribute to all the great Rock songs from over the decades with his kick ass band ‘Raizing Steam’. Think Freddie Mercury meets Joe Cocker with a splash of panache.

Sat Nov 21st another great local act ‘Stumble’ bring their take on hits from over the decades. Tracy is one hell of a singer and these guys really rock out.

Free entry to all musical gigs and everyone welcome. Music from 8pm for all of them.

Sat Nov 28th after the massive success of last weekends quiz the quiz master supreme ‘Elliott’ is hosting another one! Expect the same hard hitting questions that’ll make your brain ache! Get reserving your tables quickly as last time it was heaving.

Two big nights coming at the club. First up is this coming Saturday October 10th with a big quiz night run by one of the locals ‘Elliott’ who’s trying to raise as much money as possible for the National Autistic Society. Be warned though… lots of tables are already booked for this one so please be quick if you’re thinking of entering. See poster for details. Then Sat Oct 17th we have the brilliant Tom Clements playing. Tom has a unique take on cover versions of great songs and is widely respected on the south coast playing festivals and gigs constantly. Date for your diaries folks! We have The Big Quiz coming up on Saturday October 10th at the club.£2 per person to enter and maximum of 6 per team. We have a new Quiz Master for this one. Local lad ‘Elliot’ who’s trying to raise as much money for The National Autistic Society so let’s get on this please and make sure of a good turnout. Looks like a good night.
