Village club Ideally situated in the centre of Witchampton ‘The Club’ (as it is known to the locals), celebrated its 100 year anniversary this 2009.

Ivy House was built in 1580 and retains some of the original features and these have been blended in with the recent refurbishments. There is always a warm welcome to new and existing members and if you are in the area please drop in and sample the fantastic choice of real ales and food and sample some of the local atmosphere. The Club is run by me(Hayley) and a fantastic team that that are dedica

ted to making your visit enjoyable. There is always something going during the week and weekends. Entertainment ranges from Live Bands, Discos, and regular themed events to Bingo on a Sunday evening. The Club offers home cooked food and the favourites are The Sunday Carvery and The Wednesday Night Fish n Chips. We only use Fresh English Meats and Fresh Fish from the North Sea.

Big thanks to everyone that came to the Phil King show last night at the club. Packed to the rafters with a great crowd.

Next up is this coming Saturday June 6th. We have the outstanding Millie Watson performing her unique set of originals and covers. Millie is an absolute star and not one to be missed. Music from 8pm. We have the brilliant cover artist ‘Phil King’ playing the club this Saturday 30th May! Phil is universally loved and all are welcome to enjoy his unique blend of covers. Get here for 7pm with music from 8pm…. Oh and it’s payday weekend!

Hey hey music lovers it’s the Witchampton Ooen Gardens this weekend so to celebrate we’ve got a packed line up of eclectic music to cater for everyone’s tastes…
Sunday May 24th we have The Blandford Stour Valley Brass Band playing two sets from midday to 3pm then following swiftly on with the brilliant Pete Robson with his unique brand of dirty blues… think Tom Waits meets BB King then..
Bank holiday Mon 25th May we have our very own Witchampton Ukulele Orchestra ripping it up at the club at 2pm. They’ll be playing all the classics and a few choice cuts but with their very own Dorset twist. All music outside as it’s such great weather and everyone welcome. Let’s Mosh!!

This coming Saturday May 16th we have the superb Folk/Punk/Pop musician ‘Shannon White’ playing the club. Shannon is a wonderful songwriter whose tunes tell great stories with infectious melodies and a beautiful voice to deliver them. We’re so lucky to have artists of her calibre in the club so please tell your friends, turn up and celebrate our wonderful village. Free entry and all welcome. Doors open 7pm and music from 8pm. Tomorrow night (Saturday 9th May) at the club we have our now legendary Big Card Bingo night hosted by our very own Justin Bignell! Think a cross between Brucey and Barrymore yet somehow slightly camper and a lot less controversial. The best bingo host in the county for sure😀

All welcome but non members CANNOT win the jackpot but can win other prizes. No table reservations and it’s first come first served.

Hey huge thanks to everyone that made this bank holiday Tractor rally so special! The largest amount of tractors we’ve ever had and such a great crowd who kept the party going well into the night with the whole village dancing in the streets. Thank you!

Next music night is Saturday May 16th and we have the incredible Shannon White here. Shannon’s a firm festival favourite on the south coast and her unique brand of Folk/Punk/Pop is not to be missed. Original music with a few covers thrown in. Shannon is a superb performer and a brilliant storyteller and we’re very lucky to have her play our tiny venue. All welcome. This coming Sunday May 3rd is the legendary Witchampton Tractor rally! It starts midday sharp so please arrive at the club (BH21 5AP) 11.30am latest. Bacon rolls available prior to take off from the club then pop up bar at a secret location then back to the club for 4 pm for more food, great alcohol and live music. What more do you need?! Well it is bank holiday the next day so Boom!…. Let’s make this one to remember
