Great events are expertly managed behind the scenes.

Behind the scenes at RHS - Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show 2026...

While the gardens take centre stage, there’s a huge amount happening behind the scenes to bring it all together.

Our team are currently on site at the Chelsea working alongside multiple contractors to deliver structures as part of the wider build.

And like any large-scale event build:

→ Space is tight
→ Timelines are tighter
→ Everything is moving at once!

From early access planning to adapting in real time, it’s all about coordination making sure our work fits easily around everyone else on site.

Because at this stage, it’s not just about what you’re building… it’s about how you build it alongside others.

We’re really looking forward to seeing this one all come together 🌿

When event builds become more ambitious, the expertise behind them matters more than ever.

That’s why we’re very proud to retain our 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 capability within the team — held by our very own Wa.

It’s one of those behind the scenes capabilities that clients don’t always see… but it plays a critical role in delivering safe, seamless installs, especially as structures get bigger and more ambitious (which is a clear trend we’re seeing YoY.)

At WH Silverbacks we don’t just install structures. We plan, manage and deliver complex builds safely and efficiently from the ground up.

Having an Appointed Person licence allows us to:

✔ Plan and oversee lifting operations of all sizes
✔ Produce detailed lift plans for both build and de-rig phases
✔ Work confidently with cranes when required
✔ Operate as trained slinger/signallers ensuring safe, precise coordination on site.

It’s a level of in house expertise that gives our clients confidence, and gives us greater control over how projects are delivered.

Because as structures get larger and more complex, it’s not just about the end result. It’s about having the knowledge, experience and capability to deliver it properly.
