The Criterion A friendly local pub in the Knightstone area of Weston-super-Mare. We are a free house. We have a range of snacks available too.

ANOTHER CHARITY UPDATE! ❤️
A huge thank you to The Regency and The Waverley, who have added another £106.95 to our Children’s Hospice South West fundraising.
That takes the total raised so far from £505 to £611.95! 🦍🔥
Absolutely brilliant — and there may still be a little more to come.

£505 AND COUNTING! 🦍🔥🇦🇺

Georgia has now swapped The Criterion for Australia, the Gorilla has hung up his BBQ tongs (for now!), and we’ve finally counted up the money so far.

An amazing £505 has been raised to date for Children’s Hospice South West — with a little more still to come.

A massive thank you to everyone who came along, bought some food, put money in the pot, donated, helped out or simply joined in with the day. It was a cracking afternoon and your generosity made it all worthwhile.

Georgia is now safely on the other side of the world 🌏🇦🇺 — but the fundraising isn’t quite finished yet, so donations are still very welcome.

Join us at The Criterion on Sunday 30 August for Georgia’s leaving do and Gorilla’s Charity BBQ.

The pub opens at 12 noon, with Gorilla firing up the BBQ from 3pm. Donations are welcome, with money raised in aid of Children’s Hospice South West.
