As lighthearted as we have been, it’s been a tough couple of weeks.

Thank you to all who have commented and sent messages across, we really appreciate your concern and well wishes!

The pub wanted to remind us it’s an old building and these things happen, and no, the rain did not make the inside ceiling fall down!

That being said …

WE ARE OPEN AGAIN THIS SATURDAY!

11am as normal, though we are closed to the public for a private event in the evening.

We welcome you to come and show us some support and have a chat about all that went down while we were closed…no pun intended!

The Fork ‘n’ Ale is a community pub full of character and personality, we couldn’t do it without everyone who comes through our doors everyday and following us, thank you all so much!

So pop in over the weekend, have a pint and some well deserved food.
We have a lot planned in the coming months, so stay tuned!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Unfortunately, we will be closed until further notice after a major leak has caused a large part of our ceiling to collapse 😓

Apparently a roof over our heads what more of a suggestion than a guarantee ☔️

Massive apologies for the inconvenience, we’ll keep you updated and hopefully pouring pints over pouring pipes before too long 🍻
