The Kings Arms…not just any old pub 🥰❤️

Apart from pouring proper pints from our award winning cellar, we work tirelessly behind the scenes to bring you that little bit extra.

WHY?

Because pubs aren’t just somewhere to drink.
They’re a vital part of our communities. Where people can come together and meet their neighbours. A place where you can feel safe and seen!
They are run by REAL people with REAL passion for the local pub!

There really is something for everyone here at this little old pub on the Bishopric and we’re so very proud to be a part of this community ❤️✌️

Halloween in a near 400 year old haunted pub is always just the bestest!

On Saturday 31st October, we welcome local trick or treaters!! 🎃🍭

Please note, that while we have gone bigger than ever on our decs, the restaurant, snug and garden areas are all still dec free for those not wishing to sit next to Steve the Skeleton or have a giant synthetic spider dangling in their pint 🫣🕷️

What an absolute pleasure it is to know you, to work with you and to call you a friend!

If you haven’t met Kim yet, let me tell you a little bit about her…
Kim skips into work with the biggest smile on her face. Every. Single. Time.
She is always going above and beyond for the pub and our team and is an incredibly hard worker. She’s always offering more and really does embrace everything we stand for here at The Kings and it’s people like Kim who keep these four walls filled to the brim with GOOD VIBES 💚🎉

She’s also pretty bad-ass on the drums and you should DEFINITELY go and see her play in .heart.angel at The Malt Shovel, Horsham on Saturday 10th October!! Just saying.

🥒🌶️THE KINGS COMMUNITY GARDEN 🌶️🥒

We’ve had yet again an absolute stonker of a summer in our beautiful courtyard garden.

Our team of amazing volunteers are taking such good care of the garden and always planting wonderful things for us all to enjoy!

Tonight, we tried our own chilli’s and gherkins which both went down an absolute treat!!

If you’d like to get involved in our garden project, we are always happy for people to join our super friendly community, just have a chat with Jodie 💛💚
It’s all about getting together and having a peaceful time pottering around this stunning space.

WE’VE ONLY GONE AND DONE IT AGAIN 🥳🙌🍻

YES - WE ARE IN IT!!
THE GOOD B**R GUIDE 2027!!!!!!!!!!!

We’ve had such an amazing weekend celebrating our 6th consecutive year in the Good B**r Guide, so thank you all so much for sharing our little moment. You really are amazing!!
Also a really special thank you to our gorgeous friend Henry, who wanted to share the moment we handed this certificate to our cellarman, David.
You can just see he’s as proud of him and has as much love for him as we all do ❤️❤️❤️

David is just truly amazing. He’s works tirelessly behind the scenes looking after our real ale offerings, talking with all our amazing breweries and putting together what is always a 5 star line up. His passion and care for serving the perfect pint is just unmatched and he really does go above and beyond to deliver an award winning line up.

You’d be pleased to know that David also implements the exact same standard of cellar care and offerings at our big brother pub, The Malt Shovel, Horsham too!!

So to our whole team who look after our cellar, spend hours pumping and cleaning lines, take such good care of what we have to offer…THANK YOU ❤️🙏

And to David, for being the driving force behind a 5 star service…THANK YOU ❤️🙏

TUESDAY: UKULELE CLUB
Always a great evening. A fantastic set list and a bunch of very wonderfully talented and fun musos! Come and join in, or just to enjoy an evening of sing along songs!

WEDNESDAY: POKER CLUB // FILM NIGHT
Poker club takes place every Wednesday in our restaurant room with a really friendly group of guys. Good vibes only (as always!), 7.30pm start.

This weeks film in the garden is the highly requested JAWS!! Popcorn provided. Grab a b**r from the bar, bring a blanket, order in a takeaway and get cosy!
