The Club has over 1000 members across the five sections of the Club: CRICKET, SQUASH, TENNIS, HOCKEY and SOCIAL. Members of the sports sections include players at county, national and international level and all have flourishing junior sections. Overlooking one of the finest Cricket grounds in the County this unique venue also has two function rooms available to hire for any occasion from Conferences to Weddings. Events at the Club include the County Cricket Festival, annual Fireworks Evening, Horsham Live music festival, as well as monthly Jazz evenings with the 16 piece Freddy Woods Orchestra; weekly Texas Hold'em Poker, a monthly Quiz; and numerous themed club events from race nights to Xmas parties. Daytime activities run at the club include Pilates and French Circle. Membership of Horsham Sports Club is great value for money and offers access to the clubhouse facilities as well as club events. Each sporting section has its own membership and host events throughout the year including tournaments, social events and dinner/dances. Cricket
Horsham CC is a thriving club with 4 Men's Saturday XIs, Sunday Development XI, Ladies XI, Thursday XI and a Colts Section for boys and girls from U9 to U16. The club also runs mini cricket for 5- 8yr olds. There are two cricket pitches at the club - the main square and the John Dew Ground. The main square is a county cricket outground. In addition there are grass practice nets and the recently refurbished artificial net complex which was opened in April 2011. Hockey
Horsham HC is one of the top hockey clubs in the South. The Ladies 1st XI play in the National League East Conference, and the Men's 1st XI play in the Kent/Sussex Regional league. There are 6 Ladies and 6 Men's sides, including 'Development' and 'Vets' teams. There is also a thriving junior section with over two hundred members, from the age of six upwards. For adults (and older colts) training takes place on weekday evenings with matches played on Saturdays. Colts matches and training take place on a Sunday. Hockey is played at a number of local Astro pitches in Horsham but the clubhouse is at Cricketfield Rd. Teams come back here for teas and to hold numerous social events throughout the year. Squash
The squash section became part of Horsham Sports Club in 1996 when it moved from premises near the railway station to new courts at the Cricketfield Road site. Three championship glass backed courts with viewing areas are available from 10am to 10pm every day apart from Christmas Day and Boxing Day. The club runs an adult league, has 3 men's and 1 women's team, and holds club tournaments twice a year. Individual and group coaching is available for both adults and juniors. Members may book courts 8 days in advance and non members 2 days in advance. Tennis
Horsham Lawn Tennis Club is a long-established and thriving club offering tennis for all standards from social and family play to competitive league. There are five all weather hard courts available until 10pm each day. There are four grass courts available from May to September -11am to dusk-weather permitting. There is also a practice wall which can be used at all times that Court 1 is not in use. Club sessions include men's night, club team night, ladies mornings, social tennis. Teams play in the Sussex County Leagues and The Dorking and Leatherhead Summer Leagues. There is an annual members' tournament, social mixed competitions and a ladder competition. Group and individual coaching is available for both adults and juniors and follows the LTA's long term player development strategy. Membership includes court fees. Non members can pay and play at off peak times subject to availability. Social
Social membership is available to anyone who wishes to enjoy the benefits of reduced room hire rates, discounts on drinks purchased at the bar and priority invitation to the many club events held through out the year. Social membership also entitles match day ticket holders access to the main pavilion during cricket county cricket week. Family membership and individual memberships are available.
