We are very saddened to learn that yesterday we lost the wonderful George Dunn DFC at the age of 103.

We were honoured to have George at the Robin Hood back in December 2024 when he gave us a glimpse into what life was like as a pilot during WW2. He flew Halifax‘s and Mosquitoes and completed 44 operations including the infamous Peenemunde Raid.

In more recent years he did everything he could to ensure the legacy of Bomber Command and the 55,573 who never made it back.

Our thoughts are with his loved ones and all his friends and family.

Gone but never forgotten ❤️
