The nights are drawing in, the jumpers are coming back out and suddenly red wine feels very much back on the agenda. 🍂🍷
Our Tierra Merlot comes from Chile’s Central Valley and is a lovely easy-drinking red, with soft plum and dark fruit flavours and that smooth, rounded character Merlot is known for.
Basically, a very good place to start if you’re officially declaring it red wine season. Come and try a glass at the Rose & Crown.
An Italian red + a cosy pub + an autumn evening. We think that combination speaks for itself. 🇮🇹🍷
Villa dei Fiori Montepulciano d’Abruzzo is ripe and rounded, with plenty of red berry flavour, a slightly rustic character and enough freshness to keep it beautifully balanced.

Produced by Zuccardi in Argentina’s Uco Valley, this is a classic Argentinian Malbec, the sort of red that comes into its own when the evenings start getting colder. The style is particularly at home alongside beef and lamb too, so definitely one to consider with a roast dinner.
Our Rare Vineyards Pinot Noir comes from vineyards in the Languedoc-Roussillon area of southern France, close to the Pyrénées. It’s smooth and velvety, with cherry and blueberry flavours and a little sweet oak spice.
A great choice if you fancy a red but prefer something a little softer and lighter in style.
