Please see below the lots available for tonight’s Weston hospice auction, come down and bid generously for a great cause.
Doors open at 6, music starts at 7 and the auction commences at 8pm.
Lot 1: Thatchers Gold C***r
Right, let's get this party started! Lot one is a full box of twelve bottles of Thatchers Gold C***r, kindly given to us by Thatchers.
Lot 2: 'Sagrada' Stemless W**e Glasses
These stemless 'Sagrada' w**e glasses come all the way from the Sagrada Família in Barcelona. They're limited edition and arrive in a beautiful presentation box, so they're ready to give or ready to keep. Generously provided by Sarah Whyte.
Lot 3: Cream Tea for Two
Time for a treat! The Levels Country Kitchen have kindly offered a cream tea for two. The voucher is valid for twelve months, so there's no rush. Tea for two, and two for tea!
Lot 4: Reflexology Treatment
Wendy Rider has gifted a reflexology treatment, and the best part is you don't have to go far: she's right in the heart of the village at Chapel House. The voucher is valid until October 2027.
Lot 5: Cheddar Gorge and Caves
Cheddar Gorge and Caves have kindly donated two adult tickets to explore both the caves and the gorge. They're valid until the end of September 2027.
Lot 6: Vineyard Tour and Tasting
Aldwick Estate has generously given a gift voucher for two people to enjoy a vineyard tour and tasting. It's valid until October 2027.
Lots 7 and 8: Weston-super-Mare FC Family Match Day Pass
Football fans, this one's for you! The next two lots come from Weston-super-Mare FC: a family match day pass. Each pass covers two adults and two children under sixteen, so the whole family can cheer from the stands.
Lot 9: Moorcroft Centennial Plate
Now for something really special. This is a limited edition Moorcroft Centennial plate, complete with its box and authentication certificate. A true collector's piece, very kindly given by Dawn Pearson.
Lot 10: West Somerset Railway Tickets
West Somerset Railway have kindly given two adult tickets. These are their standard 'rover' tickets: one adult per ticket, and you can use them any day you like, except during special events at the railway.
Lot 11: New Inn – Hamper
The New Inn (and Alex) have yet again donated a fabulous hamper to tonight’s auction. As we are coming up to Christmas this could be a great gift for someone.
Lot 12: Tuk Tuk Ride over Cheddar Gorge
Bluebird Café have very kindly offered a tuk tuk ride over Cheddar Gorge. The winning bidder gets a fun ride with a view!
Lot 13: Sausage Making Experience
Get your aprons on! Hectors Family Butchers have given a Sausage Making Experience for two people. You'll book it directly with the butchers, and then it's all about the bangers.
Lot 14: The Grove Cafe – Xmas Hamper
If you missed out on the last hamper this is your opportunity to bid on the incredible hamper that has been donated by Charley and The Grove Cafe, Wedmore. This hamper is full of incredible items hand selected from her cafe.
Lot 15: Weekly Flowers for a Month
Bouquet Florist in Cheddar have kindly provided flowers every week for a month for one lucky winner. Delivery is included for anyone within a five-mile radius of the florist. Fresh flowers, four weeks running.
Lot 16: Glastonbury Extravaganza
Music lovers, this is the one! Glastonbury Festival have kindly given two adult tickets to the Glastonbury Extravaganza. It's held in Glastonbury Abbey, and the line-up is something special: all the details are on their website. This event takes place in 2027.
Lot 17: Hornets Rugby Season Tickets
Hornets Rugby Club have given us a season ticket for two adults, covering their whole 2026/27 season. A full season of rugby for two.
Lot 18 & 19: Bristol City FC Tickets
Bristol City FC have kindly given 2 lots of vouchers for two tickets to any home league game of your choice, men's or women's. And there are two sets of these, so four tickets in total.
Lot 20: Twin Engine Mini Driving Experience
Many of you know this one! It's your chance to drive the Twin Engine Mini, a rare and brilliant machine. It’s a fantastic day out. Breakfast and lunch are included, so you can enjoy a relaxed day with good food and plenty of time behind the wheel. It would make a great gift for a car enthusiast, or a treat for yourself.
Lot 21: Two-Night Stay at Tor Farm Lodge
Time for a getaway! Tor Farm Lodge in Cheddar have kindly given a gift voucher for a two-night midweek stay for two people in a one-bedroom cabin. The voucher expires on the 31st of December 2027, but it can't be used over Christmas or New Year.
Lot 22: Turnip Prize Winner 2026
This next lot really is a chance in a lifetime. The winning bidder becomes a Turnip Prize judge for 2026! It's a very rare opportunity, but you need to be free on Sunday 22nd November for judging day.
Lot 23: Cookery School at The Pony
The Pony in Chew Valley have kindly given a voucher for their cookery school, for two adults. It expires on the 9th September 2027. All courses feature the best produce from the South West and are taught by their trained professional team and guest chefs from the The Pony Family.
Lot 24: Rookers Rest Off-Grid Cabin
Canopy and Stars have given a weekend stay for two at their ‘Rookers Rest’ off-grid cabin in Somerset. It can be taken any time, with no restrictions, and you book directly using the details in the pack.
Lot 25: Two Nights in Dublin
Many thanks to Joe and Mandy Stenson, who have generously given a voucher for two nights at Points A Hotel in Dublin. It's for two people, and breakfast is included. This is a lovely hotel in the heart of Dublin.
Lot 26: Seven Nights at The Savoy Palace, Madeira
This is the one I’m sure many of you have been waiting for! Seven nights for two people at The Savoy Palace Hotel in Funchal, Madeira. Please note flights and food are not included. A huge thank you to Sally Clifford for giving this lot to tonight’s auction.
Lot 27 (the final lot): Brand New Dell Laptop
And now, the final lot of the evening! Stephen Warner and his business Reflex Facilities Group have kindly given us a brand-new Dell laptop. It runs Windows 11 Home, has 16GB of memory and a 15.6 inch display.
