🎉 Carnival Is Almost Here! 🎉
With carnival just a week away, the excitement is building, and things are about to get very busy for us and our staff over the next couple of weeks!
The Pheasant has a long and proud history with Bridgwater Carnival. The Pheasant Carnival Club was a big part of the carnival scene for many years, with memorable entries including Windy Millers Birthday (1976), Kingdom of Cards(1977) and Memory Lane (1981).
Although the club is no longer running, we still look back with great pride at its contribution to Bridgwater Carnival and all the hard work, dedication and community spirit that went into those fantastic entries. ❤️
Carnival continues to be a huge part of life for so many of our team and their families.
With Ella, Sam and Cliff involved with Cobra Carnival Club, and Fliss and her family over in Gorgans, we've certainly got a busy couple of weeks ahead!
We'd like to wish everyone involved in the clubs the very best of luck for the upcoming processions. We know just how much hard work goes on behind the scenes to make carnival what it is today.
Over the next fortnight, we'll be in and out of the pub as we get caught up in all the carnival excitement, so please keep an eye on our page for any updates regarding opening hours.
We hope to see plenty of familiar faces along the way. If you spot us out and about, please feel free to give us a wave! 👋
