Starting with Jamie Yost this Saturday 6th June, who is flying back in from gigs in Australia to play the Bluebird! A talented songwriter with a Ben Howard/Dermott Kennedy vibe. Don't miss this one!
Then Saturday 13th we have the talented Elly Hopkins playing her gritty golf/rock/country blues. She has played Glastonbury and the Royal Albert Hall and has had so many great reviews!

Don't miss out of seeing Jenna Witts this coming Saturday! The West Country singer-songwriter is a free spirit with an effortless natural talent. She is an accomplished keyboards player, acoustic guitarist & ukulele player who comes to life on stage with her infectious laugh and humor (with a west-country twang )– then silences everyone with her startlingly mature voice, sass, attitude and elegance. She delivers wonderfully melodic songs inspired by the sea, love and life .
She has played the Royal Albert Hall and played alongside some greats including Elkie Brooks, Reef, Seth Lakeman & Hazel O Connor!

Next weekend is going to be amazing! We have the talented Jenna Witts playing on Saturday night. She is incredible to see live with a great voice, fab guitar melodies and even a ukulele involved!
Then Sunday afternoon we have our chilled/jazz afternoon of music with Dan & Cissy. A talented duo who will be playing from 2.30-4.30pm.

Last Thursday the Bluebird had its annual awards evening where we gave back £10,580 to local community projects and good causes. Over the three years we have been open we have now donated £35,000 back to the local community.
We are set up not only to showcase the best musical talent in the South West, but also as a 'not for profit' business we are here to give back to the local community.

We want to thank everyone for their support over the last year. Whether you visit our cafe during the day, drink at our bar in the evening, dine with us for our pizza/platters/salads, come to our live music and quiz/music bingo/comedy nights or buy your alcohol from us every time you visit Table 8 Indian restaurant, you are enabling us to give back this money to support local good causes.

We have some great events coming up at the Bluebird and they are all free entry!
Starting with our popular Music Bingo this coming Friday; a fun night of music, bingo and prizes.
Then this Saturday we have Rileys Cove launching their vinyl album with a special gig that includes strings live on some of the tracks to reproduce the studio live!

Then we follow with the talented Jenna Witts on Sat 30th May and then Dan & Cissy playing the chilled/jazz session on Sunday afternoon 31st May.

After an incredible full house with Chris Jagger last night; next Saturday 23rd the Bluebird hosts Rileys Cove . This promises to be a very special gig because Chelle @ Scottie are being accompanied by Clive Miller on Cajon and Jo Lewis on Cello and Christine Bull on Violin to recreate some of the songs that are on the duos latest EP and album launch. Playing songs off their latest vinyl album release and some great covers, it will be a fabulous night of music.
There are still some tables available to reserve plus walk-in tables, so don't miss out!
