Food, Mystery and Music, starting at 5pm on Halloween with food from our great friends Theera Thai along with Tarot card readings by the mysterious Daniel then some rebel rousing music from our wonderful local band Snap Tin. Eat, hear your future, be entertained and be merry.

Tomorrow Friday 30th October sees the first visit of the amazing Sisi J Grills on Wheels visiting the Black Swan Overton. In the carpark from 5pm serving mouth watering Smoky Grills, Suya & BBQ, Jollof & African favourites along with lots of side dishes to choose from.

We are looking forward to welcoming customers old and new tonight for the first meeting of the Black Swan Book Club where we will be discussing how the group will work, time, frequency etc, all contributions most welcome. Wakefield Libraries have kindly offered to assist our group and this will also be part of the discussions. tonight's meeting starts at 7pm prompt, we look forward to welcoming you to our very friendly, cosy village pub.

What a great week ahead we have with the inaugural Book Club Meeting on Tuesday, Quiz Night on Wednesday and the first visit of Sisi J Grills on Wheels on Friday then everything going on on Saturday with Tarot Readings, Snap Tin Band and Theera Thai.

Unfortunately we don't have food in the carpark today due to the imminent arrival of Storm Boelo. However the fire will be blazing whilst the storm is raging, don't let that stop you from taking refuge with us.

Stalls are filling up fast only 2 left inside and a few outside in the car park. If you have great products and your own stall and gazebo, come and join in, its a great afternoon.

Mel's merriment, Paul's Prizes and Pizzas make this a great night out in our cosy pub, not to mention the 3200 Play Your Cards Right Jackpot.
