The gentleman in the video is our legend Richard.
Does everything and asks for nothing. A fountain of knowledge.
The building itself is around 150 years old, originally stable blocks and hayloft.
It was converted to an Inn from a stable block in 1998 and keeps some original features.

Good afternoon,

Just a reminder about our new Autumn/Winter opening time.

Monday to Thursday open from 4pm, Friday to Sunday open from 12pm.

Unfortunately we can't change these times on Google, we can only suggest them. I am currently trying to get in contact with them.

Good morning everyone.

A busy, productive day ahead and the next few weeks amd months.
Marquee is coming down, ready for the winter months. Some improvements will be made for next year, some benches going in to storage and hopefully will have them all replaced by next year.
All being well, new lighting all down the path, railings painted and play area fully sorted.

Our opening times will be changing back to the autumn/winter times from next week.

Monday to Thursday open from 4pm
Friday to Sunday open from 12pm.

Apologies, but Google will still show the summer opening times.

Also there will be no quiz this evening.

When you ask why the play area is out of bounds, this is the reason.
We ask that children are always supervised in all areas of our property.
Children like this, not only ruin it for others, but cost us money and time that we dont have.
Running a pub is hard enough, without the extra cost of repairing the play area, refilling the sand pit and making a safe and friendly place for the local community.
All we can ask is that you watch your children, so they dont ruin it for everyone else.

Stalls in full swing, benches set up in the marquee for the music starting at 3pm.
