We have a packed weekend of live music at the Nelson Arms 🎶

Saturday night sees our very own Dee teaming up with acoustic duo partner James for an evening of well-known covers and laid-back live music from 8.30pm.

Then on Sunday from 7.30pm, our monthly Sing Around returns. Completely unplugged, all abilities welcome, just turn up and join in.

The Bank Holiday Weekend is absolutely stacked! 🍻

We’re pouring a line-up of Spring Ales, featuring four seasonal specials across cask and keg, including Rother Valley – Well Sprung, which will be its final appearance as the brewer is retiring, so once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Also your last chance until October to get a pint of Harvey’s Old Ale.

Live music on Saturday 2nd May with the brilliant Shaw Thing setting the tone for the weekend.

Then on Sunday, it’s full steam ahead:

A quick note from Ella 😇 Now the dust has settled from an amazing day on Sunday, I wanted to say HUGE thank you to all the wonderful people from the Nelly who donated towards my London Marathon effort.

In total, so far, we have raised an incredible £3,737 for Pancreatic Cancer UK 💜

All you have to do is turn up with your preferred acoustic instrument and take your turn to play a song of your choice - it’s so much fun, relaxed and informal. Perfect if you’re just starting out or a seasoned pro.

We’ve got a cracking night lined up this Saturday as Young & Wise take to the stage at 8:30pm. Expect a top set full of energy, great tunes, and the perfect soundtrack to your weekend.

🍻 Before the music kicks off, the kitchen is open from 5:00–8:30pm, so come down early, grab a bite to eat, and settle in with a drink before the band starts.

A message from Ella… this Sunday (26th April) I’m running the London Marathon to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

My work have very kindly donated two sets of 4x weekend general camping tickets to two festivals with world-class lineups, set in stunning locations.

- for the Jazz, Soul & RnB lovers 🎶 🎺
- for the Country, Americana & Roots fans 🤠🇺🇸

Here’s how to be in with a chance of winning:

2. Minimum donation = £10 for 1 entrance, £20 for 2 and so on!
