The cowboy hats are coming out, the boots are being dusted off and The Queen’s Head is getting ready to go COUNTRY! 👢🎶

This Friday 11th September from 7.30pm, we’re transforming the pub into The Queen’s Saloon for our Country Disco — now a very special night celebrating the music and legacy of the one and only Dolly Parton. 💗✨

And this is NOT a night for sitting quietly in the corner…

Dolly gave us the songs — we’re going to give them a proper Queen’s Head send-off! 🍻

Yesterday we heard the incredibly sad news that the undisputed Queen of Country, Dolly Parton, had passed away.

We already had a Country & Western Disco planned here at the Queen’s Head for September — and after yesterday’s news, it seems only right that we dedicate it to Dolly. 💗

So on Friday 11th September, the Queen’s Head will become The Queen’s Saloon for a very special Country Disco in loving memory of Dolly Parton.

We don’t want it to be a sombre affair. Quite the opposite.

Dolly gave the world decades of fabulous music, laughter, sparkle and some absolutely belting songs — so we’re going to celebrate them. ✨

Your team takes on all three disciplines as the battle for Queen’s Head glory unfolds throughout the day. You don’t have to be brilliant at any of them — although being vaguely competent at one might help! 😂

Despite the historic name, the 3 Man Event is absolutely open to ladies AND gents, and all abilities are welcome. It’s competitive, but above all it’s about having a brilliant day, plenty of laughs and raising money for two fantastic local causes.

The Queen’s Head 3 Man Event returns on Sunday 30th August and we’re calling on the loyal subjects of Tiverton to get involved!

You need a team of three ready to tackle all three events:

🎯 DARTS
🎳 SKITTLES
🎱 POOL

Teams rotate through each event during the afternoon, battling it out for trophies, prizes, bragging rights and the honour of being crowned 3 Man Event champions!

And despite the name, this is most definitely NOT just for the men! Ladies and gents of all abilities are very welcome. It’s friendly, it’s competitive and, most importantly, it’s a brilliant laugh.

After much demand from loyal subjects across the realm, the legendary Queen's Head 3 Man Event returns this August Bank Holiday Sunday!

If you've played before, you'll know exactly why people have been asking for its return.
