This Remembrance Sunday, the Queen and her tavern extend a heartfelt invitation to all those taking part in Tiverton's Remembrance Parade, our veterans, serving members of the Armed Forces, their families and everyone who comes out to show their support.
When the parade is over, the welcome continues at the Queen's Head.
We invite you to join us, raise a glass and share a moment of remembrance, gratitude and respect for those who have served our country, those who continue to serve, and especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we may enjoy the freedoms we have today.
Behind every uniform is a story. Behind every medal is a sacrifice. And behind every name on a memorial is someone who never made it home.
Our town of Tiverton has a proud military history, and we believe that those who have served, and those who gather to honour them, deserve nothing less than the warmest welcome and the utmost respect.
🍺 Whether you're marching, wearing your medals, supporting from the roadside or simply wishing to pay your respects, there is a place for you at the Queen's Head.
No ceremony, no fuss. Just good company, a warm welcome and the opportunity to raise a glass together in honour of those to whom we owe so much.
To the fallen, we owe our remembrance.
