On the menu our focus is locally sourced produce, seasonal ingredients and pub classics, plus a cracking selection of award-winning Butcombe beer behind the bar. The Anchor is currently closed as we transform this much-loved village pub into a beautiful Butcombe Boutique Inn, reopening on Tuesday 24th November.

We're giving you a sneak peek into the inspiration behind the redesign. Expect cosy pub spaces rich in character, a bright new restaurant inspired by the countryside and boutique bedrooms designed for the perfect countryside escape.

The Anchor you know and love is still at the heart of it all, with a fresh new look that celebrates its history while creating somewhere special to drink, dine, stay and unwind.
