We offer 12 charming ensuite bedrooms and a great base for exploring the delights of the Cotswolds. On the menu our focus is fresh, locally sourced ingredients, seasonal dishes, and exciting takes on pub classics, with a cracking selection of award-winning Butcombe beer behind the bar. The Anchor is currently closed as we transform this much-loved village pub into a beautiful Butcombe Boutique Inn, reopening on Tuesday 24th November.

We're giving you a sneak peek into the inspiration behind the redesign. Expect cosy pub spaces rich in character, a bright new restaurant inspired by the countryside and boutique bedrooms designed for the perfect countryside escape.

The Anchor you know and love is still at the heart of it all, with a fresh new look that celebrates its history while creating somewhere special to drink, dine, stay and unwind.

Being part of so many important days has been a reminder of just how much thought, time and meaning goes into creating a celebration that feels truly personal.

To all of our 2026 couples, thank you for trusting us to be part of your day. It’s been an honour to play a small part in such a significant chapter of your lives.

The team are still raving about the weddings we’ve hosted this past year, and we wish every one of you the very best as you begin this next chapter together.
