Over the last couple of months, we have implemented a last entry time at 11pm. We are enforcing this rule not only for the safety of our customers, but also our staff and in consideration of our local neighbours.

Our staff are saddened and shocked at the behaviour witnessed on our premises last night. From doors being kicked in, doors being urinated on, threats to smash windows in and foul language thrown at our staff. Fortunately, this is not a regular occurrence at our lovely pub and it was a horrible ending to such a lovely day and evening full of laughs and fun with our local customers.

We have absolutely NO TOLERANCE to abusive and anti-social behaviour in our pub, and we will not hesitate to send names and pictures off to Gloucestershire Safe for ALL local establishments to see and be able to take safety measures for their venues too.

This 11pm last entrance is NOT a rule for customers to turn up intoxicated and unable to walk or talk - we reserve the right to refuse to serve ANYONE and especially those who turn up in this manner. We will also NOT tolerate anyone turning up with beverages from other establishments - those who do will have these drinks confiscated.

Lastly, we are sorry to any of our lovely customers who witnessed these events last night. This is a rare event to happen at our establishment and we are deeply saddened that the disrespect of others ruined peoples nights. We would appreciate the word to be spread that DISRESPECT, ABUSE and ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR will never ever be tolerated at The Kings Head.

The culprits from last night are NOT allowed at The Kings Head again, and the police will automatically be called to attend in any case.
