Renovation Stories: The Anchor Inn - The Journey Begins!
The Anchor is currently closed as we transform this much-loved village pub into a beautiful Butcombe Boutique Inn, reopening on Tuesday 24th November.

We're giving you a sneak peek into the inspiration behind the redesign. Expect cosy pub spaces rich in character, a bright new restaurant inspired by the countryside and boutique bedrooms designed for the perfect countryside escape.

The Anchor you know and love is still at the heart of it all, with a fresh new look that celebrates its history while creating somewhere special to drink, dine, stay and unwind.

We can't wait to welcome you back and reveal the finished result!

Since launching Hops & Glory, we’re delighted to share that we’ve already pledged an incredible £20,000 for charity, with another month still to go!

We’re donating £10 from every cask sold to be split between Shout and the Licensed Trade Charity (LTC), supporting the people at the heart of British farming and hospitality. And that means every pint of Hops & Glory you buy helps us raise even more for these two brilliant causes.
