A BIG appreciation post for our wonderful staff this week! ❤️

Myself and Tasha needed a few days to rest and recharge. We haven’t had a proper break away since last year, and honestly, we were on the verge of burnout.

But our amazing staff stepped up and showed us just how incredible they are. 🥹❤️

Momma P ran the ship while we were away, and our wonderful friend Amanda came in to make sure everyone was okay and everything was running smoothly. Not forgetting Dean, Carla, Aimee & Sasha.

Knowing that we could step away, switch off and trust our team to hold everything together meant the absolute world to us. Fraser had a great time away as-well.

We are so grateful for every single one of you. You work so hard, you care so much, and this week you reminded us exactly why we’re so lucky to have the team that we do.

Thank you for holding the fort while we took some much-needed time for ourselves. ❤️

We appreciate you more than you know! 🫶🏼✨

The look of a landlady who’s been sat here wondering how the hell have we survived that summer…. Events after events. 😂🍻(tasha wouldn’t join the photos lol)

A few weeks of downtime, they said… “You’ll have a nice little rest,” they said. 🤣

Well, yes… but also NOPE. Because apparently hospitality doesn’t believe in hibernation. 🫠

Now it’s straight into planning and promoting winter, working out how the hell we’re going to keep the place busy, make sure the bills are paid, the staff are paid, and preferably have a few quid left over for the occasional glass of w**e to recover from it all! 🍷😂

So here we are … exhausted, slightly delirious, surrounded by spreadsheets and wondering why we ever thought owning a pub was a good idea. 😂

Wouldn’t change it though. ❤️

Right… who’s ready for winter? Because apparently we are 😵‍💫🍻

Sitting down and finalising our plan for this Sunday. I decided to doddle and draw some dogs. I always remember my old school friend teaching me how to draw the best doggies. Put it into chat GPT and got this photo. It’s kind of cute 🙂
