A First for The Bowbridge Arms 🍽️

Last Sunday we were delighted to welcome our very first Sunday Lunch guests arriving by canal boat.

Our visitors travelled up the beautiful Cotswold Canals aboard a private charter operated by the Cotswold Canals Trust⁠, mooring at Bowbridge Lock before joining us at The Bowbridge Arms for a relaxing Sunday lunch. It was wonderful to see the canal bringing people together once again and adding a little extra adventure to their dining experience. The Cotswold Canals Trust runs public boat trips and private charters from Wallbridge, giving visitors the chance to experience this historic waterway from a unique perspective.

Known for his exceptional guitar work and soulful vocals, Nigel Gardner leads a dynamic blues trio delivering powerful performances inspired by the great blues traditions while adding a fresh contemporary edge.

Nigel’s career has seen him record with artists including Gaz Coombes, The Black Feathers and Marnie Alton, and perform across four continents.
