We can now comfortably cater for both walk ins and bookings!!

12-8pm Monday- Saturday
12-5pm Sunday - Sunday lunch’s bookings only for now ☺️

We’re looking for an experienced Chef to join the team at Roaring Meg, Biddulph.

👨‍🍳 2 shifts per week (16- 20 hours)
📅 Must be available for at least 1 weekend day
🔥 Experience in a busy kitchen is essential
💪 Able to work independently and as part of a team
🍔 Fast-paced pub food environment

We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running, maintain high standards, and help deliver great food during our busiest periods.

❤️ A Full Circle Moment ❤️

Today I stood outside my pub with my grandad and my daughter.

It got me thinking about how much of my life has come full circle.

I grew up around pubs because of my grandad. Some of my best memories as a child were spent with him in pubs, seeing the community, the friendships and the atmosphere that make a great local.

Without even realising it at the time, that’s where my love for pubs began.

Fast forward to today, and I’m standing outside my own pub with the man who started it all and my little girl beside us.

Three generations. One photo.

It’s moments like this that remind me why I love what I do. Pubs aren’t just buildings—they’re places where memories are made, stories are shared and people come together.

So here’s to my grandad, who unknowingly started this journey for me, and to making plenty more memories at The Roaring Meg ❤️
