We have now officially closed the doors and the Crown & Cushion has now gone back to punch taverns and they are planning a refurb and to reopen under new management

We the staff who have served you all for many years now would like to thank everyone of you and everyone who has come out over the last week to see us all

We are all very greatfull to have met such wonderful people whilst working there and will miss seeing all of the regulars and everyone we have met over the years you are all so much more than just customers to us all, we love you all and will miss you all dearly

Thank you all again and we hope to see you all out and about around town

Due to circumstances beyond our control the Crown and Cushion is being returned back to Punch Taverns LTD on the 26th January who are conducting a major refurbishment of the pub and they will be running it directly and appointing a new manager we are extremely dissapointed that we have to hand it back but punch taverns but they are changing there business direction and removing tennants from certain sites such as our selves

We would like to thank all of customers for the many years of support and loyalty you have shown whilst we have been there.

We look gorward to seeing you all over our last few week, myself, my bosses and all the staff will miss you all dearly and hope you all have an amazing year ahead the last day we will be open is January 25th 2026
