We brew by hand in small batches at our microbrewery in Manchester. Flavour and quality come first and we always use the best ingredients available. Fabulous couple of days down in Hereford & Worcester with Charles Faram & Co checking out this year's UK hop harvest.

Huge thanks to the team & the farms we visited for showing us around & sharing such incredible knowledge with us.

Our order is in for 20 kilos of fresh, green Challenger which we'll be turning into a celebration of the 2026 harvest this month.

STOCKTOBERFEST - our annual celebration of European inspired beer AND Stockport Indie Beer Culture is back for 2026 & promises to be as Wunderbar as ever!

A little later than normal so pop the new dates in your calendar...

Thursday 1st - Sunday 4th October

More details to follow towards the end of the month - but suffice to say it'll involve freshly baked pretzels - colourful syrups - party keg specials AND loads of lagery goodness!

As ever we'll be ably supported by the wunderkinder of Honest Crust at The Runaway Brewery AND also be collaborating with some of Stockport's finest to bring you an amazing beer list, fabulous food, all the schlager hits AND MORE!

As ever the event is free entry with no tickets required & no reservations - so space & tables available on a first come, first served basis.

RUNNING WILD TASTING

The Runaway Brewery Taproom

Join us for an evening of wild fermented and barrel aged beers from the Runaway cellar!

Together with our brewing team, you'll explore 6 mixed ferm and BA saisons, including an exclusive first pour of Gyle 1000 - our first barrel fermented wild ale - and an all new Blend in cask!

On the night, our brewing team will provide table service, answer any questions and be on hand to introduce the beers and our 'Oubliette' project.

You can reserve a table for four or purchase an individual ticket for this event (link in bio). Individual ticket holders will be seated on sharing tables of up to 6 people & encouraged to join the discussion about each beer.

Your ticket price includes tasters of 6 beers along with cheese and charcuterie from Stockport Market's very own !

This tasting event kicks off Running Wild - the first of our all new Weird Weekends, which we hope to make a twice yearly exploration of niche beer styles from Runaway and friends here at the taproom!
