We're thrilled to announce the first of our Weird Weekends here at Runaway!
Running Wild will be a springtime celebration of wild / mixed ferm, sour, rare & barrel aged beers, showcasing both bang fresh brews and beers from 'Oubliette' aka the brewery cellar.
Running Wild will run from Thursday to Sunday, with different mini-events on throughout the weekend. The main event is open to all with no ticket required.
A few deets for those who like to know what's happening....
THURSDAY 28th MAY
Gyle 1000 Launch
Join us for the launch of our first ever barrel fermented and blended saison! We'll have four different blends for you to try in cask & keg, with very ltd ed. 750ml bottles available to buy on the day too!
In addition, our brewing team will be hosting a guided tasting of Gyle 1000 AND our Oubliette project on the night! This will be a ticketed event, so check out the Runaway Brewery Website (or see the link in our bio) to book your spot.
FRIDAY 29th & SATURDAY 30th
Running Wild Takeover
From 1pm Friday we'll be pouring 10 lines of freaky business from both cask and keg - think Belgian style saisons, farmhouse ales, sour & fruited beers, mixed ferm and barrel aged beers, including our Gyle 1000 blends and 'Oubliette' beers conditioned and fermented in wood.
We will of course have a small selection of our usual range pouring on draught for those feeling less adventurous :)
We'll also have five all new beers available in 750ml sharing bottles to drink in and/or take away to enjoy fresh or age at home (subject to availability).
Alongside our own beers will be filling their fridge with a host of specially selected, weird, wild and sour beers from across the globe!
In addition to the beers, we'll also have fabulous sourdough pizza from the ever excellent AND a specially devised Running Wild menu from our pals from who'll be popping up on Saturday too!
