This was previously the South Street Bar & Coffee Lounge account. We’ve updated it to help you find the original South Street Coffee House on Southchurch Road ☕

Our independent coffee shop opened in 2024, before the town-centre bar. The former bar operated as a franchise through a different company; the coffee shop is a separate business with its own team.

If you only knew South Street through the bar, we’d love to introduce you to the original coffee shop — and if you already know us, come and keep up with everything happening here!

Our main account is South Street Coffee. That’s where you’ll find our coffee, food, drinks, community events and all the latest updates.

It is with great sadness that we announce the immediate closure of South Street Bar & Coffee Lounge.

Due to unforeseen circumstances regarding the lease, increasing rent, and rising operating costs, we have had to close our doors with immediate effect.

Thank you to everyone who supported us — customers, staff, suppliers, and the local community. We are truly sorry things have ended this way.

To avoid any confusion, South Street Coffee House in Southchurch remains open as normal, as South Street Bar & Coffee Lounge was operated as a separate franchise business.

The tournament kicks off on June 11th, with England’s first game on June 17th at 9PM.
