The Olde Mint

The Olde Mint Traditional public house in the heart of Southam’s high street The building is now a traditional style public house, retaining its classic and quirky decor.

According to legend, this building was used in 1642 by King Charles to pay his troops with the first minted coins after the battle of Edge Hill. It was then converted by John Liddington Leisure to mainly open plan, preserving plenty of timberwork together with displays of civil war guns, pikes and swords. We have a large partly-covered outdoor beer garden with a childrens' play area and a private car park. Our garden is spacious and contains a marquee perfect for parties and occasions.

What an absolute afternoon! 🎸 The High Flying Aces were amongst other local talented bands and singers who absolutely rocked the Summer Sounds event at The Olde Mint in Southam – the music was incredible, pure live music magic from start to finish! 🎤✨

The energy was off the charts – the audience was up on their feet, dancing away, singing along, and having the best time! 💃🕺🎵 Great tunes, brilliant bands , and such a fantastic atmosphere all round. High Flying Aces really enjoyed being part of this well organised annual event that supports live music 🎶

What a fantastic afternoon yesterday for our annual Summer Sounds! ☀️🎶 We look forward to this day every year, and nothing warms our hearts more than a packed garden full of customers having a wonderful time 🍻
We loved seeing so many of you dancing the afternoon away as as act after act entertained us through to the evening 🎸

A huge thankyou to all of our performers this year: Devils Hand, Lizzie Walker, High Flying Aces, Django, DJ Moe & DJ H2O 🎶 and of course to our fabulous staff that go above & beyond each year to make this day special 🍾
