Another beautiful evening of music at the pub last night… 🎶❤️

We welcomed four new faces to join our musicians, while the pub was full of people enjoying a pint, a chat and those good old-fashioned pub vibes we love so much.

This is exactly what Monday nights are all about — music, community, conversation and a proper pub atmosphere.

🍰☕ OUR KITCHEN IS HAVING A DAY OFF… BUT THE GREAT WESTERN DEFINITELY ISN’T! 🍺🚂

We’re open from 11am today for delicious coffee, cake, bar snacks, beautifully cold beer and all your favourite drinks.

And today, the pub is quite simply yours.

Come and chill. Read a book. Meet your friends. Have coffee and cake and dissect your fabulous weekend. Make travel plans. Make work plans. Bring your laptop. Bring the blueprints for your kitchen extension! Bring a deck of cards, dominoes or the newspaper.

Spread out. Relax. Stay a while.

Meanwhile, we’re giving our wonderful kitchen and front-of-house teams a very well-earned rest after another brilliant week here at the Great Western.

Holding the fort today is our very own Captain Shane, with First Mate Dillyn alongside him, heading up the bar and hospitality all day long. ⚓️🍺

Then at 7pm tonight… MUSIC NIGHT IS BACK! 🎶

It’s our second Great Western Music Night and everyone is welcome.

We’ve had an update from our eye in the sky 👀✈️

The B4452 from Ufton towards Harbury is currently CLOSED, with reopening expected at around 12.30pm today.

A diversion is in place, so please allow a little extra time — and please drive safely. ❤️

Our full menu runs as usual, PLUS the Little Western fires up from 2pm for PIZZA — Saturday only!
Perfect with a cold beer, a spritz and a spot on the terrace.

It’s all about the roast.
