A small update from The Oak. 👑

Over the next few weeks, we'll be open from 4pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, serving drinks and hearty bar snacks.

Food service will be paused at the start of the week, before returning as usual from Wednesday evenings through to Sunday.

We expect to return to usual 7 days a week food service from early July.

Thank you for your continued support while we navigate some organisational changes. We look forward to seeing you at the bar, and around the table, over the coming weeks.

We're looking for an experienced and ambitious Head Chef to take the reins of our growing Cotswolds gastro pub.

This is an opportunity to shape menus, lead a talented team, and play a key role in the future of a well-established village pub with an exciting chapter ahead.

• Minimum 5 years' Head Chef experience
• Strong leadership skills
• Passion for quality, locally sourced food

Due to unforeseen circumstances outside of our control, our kitchen will be closed this evening and during Saturday daytime service.

Unfortunately, this means we will be unable to serve food until Saturday evening, and our first breakfast morning has been postponed.

Friday: takeaway and eat-in wood-fired pizzas, plus live music from Steve Hitchings from 8pm.

Saturday: we’re the official after party for South Cerney’s Family Fun Day at Upper Up. 🍸 Join us from 4pm for live music, a guest Mexican food van outside, and our usual à la carte menu inside.

Sunday: after Sunday lunch service, join us for karaoke, plus free roasties, Yorkshire puddings and gravy on the bar (first come, first served).

Monday: a beer in the garden, of course.
