*POLITE NOTICE*

Following our recent ABBA Night, we have been informed that a noise complaint was made regarding the event.

We are naturally disappointed by this, particularly because we pride ourselves on being approachable and part of the local community. If anyone ever has concerns about any of our events, we would much rather they come and speak to us directly so that we can listen and do our best to address any issues.

It’s worth noting that the event took place during one of the hottest weeks of the year. As many of you know, our building is listed, which places restrictions on what ventilation systems we can install. Because of the unusually high temperatures, we had one window open to allow some airflow for customers and staff, which may have resulted in the music being more audible outside than would normally be the case.

We would also like to point out that all of our events are advertised extensively and well in advance. Events are listed on our website, promoted across our social media channels, and displayed in our windows, often months before they take place, so that everyone is aware of what is coming up.

We are committed to providing a vibrant venue for both residents and visitors while being considerate of our neighbours. If you ever have any concerns, questions, or suggestions, please feel free to pop in and have a chat with us. We genuinely welcome constructive conversations and would much rather work together than hear about concerns after the event.

Due to an ongoing family emergency, we will unfortunately remain closed today, Monday 1st June.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and are grateful for the understanding, patience, and support we have received during this difficult time.

We are hopeful that we will be able to reopen on Wednesday 3rd June and will provide any further updates if necessary.
