Because of the success of the 21 and over policy, and the support from locals and people from the surrounding areas, from Thursday 21st May at 7pm we will be permanently keeping this policy in place.

This is to help minimise anti-social behaviour, move away from the old “Scrap Horse” nickname, and continue making the pub a safer and more pleasant place for everyone.

We did involve security to help handle the situation, but with such an extensive barred list it can be difficult to recognise and recall every person who has been barred. Some people who were ejected from the premises have also been using friends to sneak drinks out to them.

Thanks again to everyone supporting us and helping improve the atmosphere in the pub.
