This is Mel!

Mel has been part of the team for an incredible 6.5 years and is quite literally the Swiss Army knife of the pub. 🔪🍻 She’s done it all and has worked in almost every position, making her one of those people who can turn her hand to just about anything!

This is Tyla!

Tyla joined us at Easter this year and has quickly become a familiar face around the pub. She particularly loves working behind the bar, and if you’ve spotted her, you may have noticed she has a bit of a favourite colour… blue! 🔵

Today we said goodbye to one of our absolute favourites, Molly ❤️

After being part of The White Hart family through thick and thin, Molly is heading off on the adventure of a lifetime — a year (maybe more!) in Australia 🇦🇺

It’s honestly hard to put into words what a huge loss this is for our team. Molly has been the backbone of The White Hart, always there with her infectious personality, her kindness, her hard work and, of course, that gorgeous smile. She’s brought so much laughter, energy and love to this place, and we’re going to miss her more than she knows.

From Wales ➡️ Kent ➡️ Australia… we’re not quite sure Australia is ready for you, Mols! They’ve got absolutely no idea what’s about to hit them 😂❤️

We’re so incredibly proud of you and excited for everything that’s waiting for you on the other side of the world. Go make memories, have the best time, and show Australia exactly what we’ve all known for years — you’re one in a million.

Thank you for everything, Molly. The White Hart just won’t be the same without you. 🥹❤️

Quite literally, he was singing in the rain! 🌧️ What a wonderful way to summon the rain we’ve been missing!

With just days to go until the solar eclipse, where better to watch it than from our northwest-facing garden? 🌞🌒

It starts at around 6:15pm, reaches its maximum at 7:13pm, and finishes around 8:07pm — just the right amount of time to sit back, enjoy the spectacle and sink a few ‘sundowners’! 🍹

Please remember to follow the safety advice when watching the eclipse — bring your certified eclipse glasses and enjoy it safely. 🕶️🌒
