Let’s hope Scunthorpe General follows suit 🤔 this is great news for Grimsby 🥰

Children with complex needs will benefit from a new specialist safe sleep bed at Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby, thanks to more than £12,000 in funding from The Health Tree Foundation.

The new bed, located on Rainforest Ward, provides a safe and secure environment for children with additional needs, including those with epilepsy, autism and sensory issues.

Good evening all this is the response from the Local Authority for those with Max Cards that are out of date or are waiting for a Max Card to be issued
Further to our discussion on Tuesday, we have created 50 local concessionary cards so that families can utilise these in local venues over half term to be utilised instead of . They are available to collect from church square house for families who might require them. They will provide free entry for one child and a carer. I would think this is for North Lincolnshire council attractions. We are on with sorting the Max Cards issue out X hope you all have a lovely School Holidays xx
The Concession Card will cover access to North Lincolnshire Council Leisure Centres, Normanby Park and Museums

If a parent/carer is wishing to collect a card from Church Square House Reception, please bring along a copy (which can be a photo on their phone) of one or both of the following items for their child

Clinical Evidence of Disability - E.g., NHS Clinic Letter that shows the child's name and disability
Evidence of current DLA Award
