The garden’s misbehaving on a Sunday… and for once, we’re encouraging it. 🍔☀️

We’ve not fired up the BBQ on a Sunday before, but TODAY WE ARE – from 12.

Yesterday was only meant to be “just a barbecue”… then the grill got going, the drinks started behaving badly, and the stories got taller with every pint.

So spread the news: burgers on the barbecue, sunshine in the garden, and absolutely no rush to go anywhere. 🍻

Meet James, one of the top lads keeping The Blue Bell ticking along nicely 🔔

If you’ve popped in over a weekend, you’ll have no doubt seen James cracking on in the kitchen. Today marks his 3rd year with us, and what a grafter he is!

Always mucking in, always working hard, and always bringing a bit of good craic to the place, James is a proper part of the furniture here now. Our resident Scotsman 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, he’s never too far from the Celtic scores when there’s a game on 🤞

Three years of hard graft, good humour, and being an all-round legend - cheers, James. The place wouldn’t run the same without you!

Meet Martin, our new head chef in the kitchen here at The Blue Bell 👨‍🍳

He’s the chap keeping the pass moving and the plates coming out spot on day in, day out. Proper hardworking, knows his stuff, and always makes sure everyone leaves well fed.

Martin’s been with us for over a month now and has already become a massive part of the team - both in the kitchen and around the pub.

When he’s not busy running the kitchen, you’ll usually find him tucking into his favourite from the menu - our Fish & Chips 🐟🍟 A proper pub classic and “just the job” according to the chef himself.

Good honest grub, a cracking team, and a kitchen we’re proud of - that’s Martin all over.

Although the road signage outside advises that the road ahead is closed, access to our premises remains unaffected. The closure begins immediately after our car park, so customers and visitors are still able to reach us and use the car park as normal.
