Now this is how you start a pub lunch! 🍄‍🟫

Creamed garlic mushrooms, piled onto crisp sourdough, finished with aged Parmesan and a drizzle of balsamic.

Rich, buttery, beautifully garlicky, with plenty of creamy sauce soaking into that lovely crunchy bread.

The sort of starter that has you scraping the plate clean before the main course even arrives. ❤️

This is our sort of weather. Coats off, something lovely on the table, and a catch-up that lasts longer than you’d planned.

Crispy pork belly, burnt apple purée, pork shoulder bon bon, tenderstem broccoli, fondant potato and a lovely Calvados jus.

Crispy crackling, tender pork and all the good stuff on one plate.

And if you're wondering whether it's worth coming down the pub for… just look at it!

Now that's what we call a proper, heartwarming pub dish. 🍂🍴

Apricot & sage stuffed chicken breast, wrapped in streaky bacon, with boulangère potatoes, confit baby carrots and a lovely chicken mustard jus.

Just the sort of comforting food we all fancy this time of year.

And there's Mark, our sous chef, as always, making sure his cooking gets photographed from every possible angle before anyone's allowed to tuck in. 😂📸

Can't blame him, really. He's rather proud of what comes out of our kitchen. And rightly so! ❤️
