The kitchen at The Hollington Oak is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced, passionate and reliable Cook to join our team! 🌳🍽️

We’re not just looking for someone who can cook — we want someone who takes pride in their kitchen, their standards and every plate that leaves the pass.

⭐ What we’re looking for:
• Minimum Level 2 Food Production & Cooking or similar City & Guilds qualification — Level 3 preferred
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen
• Experience with stock management, internal & external audits, NSF and EHO
• Strong knowledge of food safety, allergens, COSHH and Health & Safety
• Confident following company specifications and maintaining consistently high standards
• Organised, reliable and able to keep calm when the kitchen gets busy
• Most importantly — a genuine passion for producing great pub food! ❤️

The role will include a mixture of duties, including bar work, and there will be occasions where shifts are worked without direct supervision. For this reason, applicants must be aged 18 or over.

🍺 Hospitality experience is preferred, particularly bar experience, but just as important to us is finding the right people — reliable, hardworking, confident with customers and willing to get stuck in as part of the team.

🍴 Kitchen experience would also be a big bonus! If you have experience working in a pub or hospitality kitchen, please make sure you include this when you apply.

We’re looking for people who:

* Are 18+
* Are reliable and able to work independently
* Have great customer service skills
* Are happy working in a busy pub environment
* Can work as part of a team and use their own initiative
* Have hospitality/bar experience — preferred
* Have kitchen experience — a definite bonus
* Are flexible with availability

⚠️ Please note: Hospitality isn’t a Monday-to-Friday, 9-to-5 job. Shifts will include evenings, weekends and key holidays, so applicants must be prepared and available to work across these periods as part of the team.
