🎃 It may be Halloween tonight, but there’ll be no ghosts, ghouls or spooky goings-on at The Knot Inn!

No scary prices either. Just great food, a warm welcome, proper drinks and a lovely atmosphere to escape the Halloween madness.

On Monday night, we welcomed a private group of 18 ladies for a Cocktails'n'Canvas painting masterclass, where everyone got to paint their own Highland cow 🐮🎨🍸

There was plenty of laughter, cocktails and some seriously impressive artistic talent. We absolutely loved having them!

We are considering putting on a Cocktails and Canvas evening for everyone to book onto in the New Year. Would anyone be interested?

Head Chef Matt and his kitchen team have been busy creating our new Autumn & Winter menu, and there are some rather exciting additions!

We’ve kept the pub classics you know and love, but there’s plenty of new dishes to discover…

🦌 Venison Carpaccio with beetroot ketchup and a chocolate & juniper reduction

THE POPPY PUB SPECIAL IS BACK 🌺🌺

And this year Head Chef Matt has stepped out of the kitchen to introduce it himself 👨‍🍳🎥

Duo of Sausage, and it’s a cracker!! 🌭🌭 Cumberland & Toulouse sausages, creamy horseradish mash, port and redcurrant gravy, seasonal greens and c***r-battered onion petals 🧅 £18 of pure comfort 🤤

Britain & France on one plate 🇬🇧🇫🇷

Here’s the best bit: £1 from every special goes to the Royal British Legion ❤️ and for every £5 raised, another giant poppy goes up on the front of the pub 🌺 Last year you lovely people absolutely smashed it, so let’s see if we can beat it!! 🙌

**FULLY BOOKED FOR SUNDAY 🙌🔥**

🍖 Wow, you lovely lot! We're now closed for Sunday bookings, and we've honestly never been this busy. We've never had to close Sunday bookings this early in the day before! The tables just flew out the door (along with a fair few Yorkshire puds).

📅 And it doesn't stop there: we've already got a record number of bookings for next Sunday, and it's still seven days away! We've even got tables booked in for every single Sunday from now until Christmas 🎄

⚠️ So if you fancy one of our famous Sunday roasts, you'll need to get booked in well in advance. Once the tables are gone, they're gone!

🙏 Wherever you can, please do book ahead. Not only does it help us make sure we've got the right number of staff in at the right time, so you get the best service possible, it also means we can plan properly so we don't run out of any dishes, whether you're joining us at noon or later in the day.

🍷 W**e of the Month | Marlborough Ridge Sauvignon Blanc
Fresh, crisp and full of citrus, with hints of tropical fruit. Very easy drinking. Perhaps a little too easy…

🍹 Cocktail of the Month | Autumn Storm
Captain Morgan Dark Rum, ginger b**r and lime juice. Bold, spicy and refreshing, with just enough autumn warmth to justify another one.

🍸 Gin of the Month | Hendrick’s Grand Cabaret
A little taste of Parisian history in a bottle, with stone fruit flavours, delicate rose and that unmistakable Hendrick’s cucumber.
