What a weekend! ❤️

We’ve been absolutely blown away by the feedback coming through over the last few days. From breakfast and date nights to a very busy Sunday lunch, it’s lovely to see so many 5s across food, service, atmosphere and value.

A few comments that made us smile…

⭐ “That was the best Sunday lunch I have ever had.”

The uniforms have been found, the packed lunches are back and we’re already running out of ideas for what to put in them… Luckily, it’s nearly Friday! 😂

Well, it looks like autumn has officially arrived! 🍂🔥

A huge thank you to Eaves Chimney Specialists for coming out this morning. They were really efficient, did a brilliant job cleaning the chimney and cleaned up as they went. We would highly recommend them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Now that the weather has turned, one of our favourite features is already making its return. The log fire in our snug is lit and roaring, making it the perfect spot for a cosy meal, a pint or an afternoon cuppa.

Who loves sitting beside our roaring fire? 🪵

We’ve got plenty of good old-fashioned games and slightly silly challenges ready to go, including our now-infamous teabag throwing! ☕🎯

Before the uniforms come back out and September arrives, we're having a FREE Family Fun Day & Back to School BBQ!

We're going properly old-school with the games. Nothing fancy, nothing that needs an instruction manual… just daft, simple fun that children, parents, grandparents and competitive grown-ups can all get involved with. 😂

We've even got teabag throwing on the list. Yes, really. ☕🎯

🔥 The BBQ will be fired up with food available throughout the afternoon
🍺 The bar will be open
🌳 Hopefully we'll all be enjoying the garden
