💜 WOW… WHAT A DAY! 💜

Yesterday was everything we hoped it would be and more.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every single person who helped make our Cancer Survivors Day fundraiser such a tremendous success.

Thank you to all the amazing local businesses who donated prizes, to everyone who bought raffle tickets, had a go on the games, donated, volunteered, popped in for a drink, bought a burger or hot dog, or simply came along to support us. Every single one of you played a part in making the day so special.

Together, we raised an incredible £800 for Royal Stoke Cancer Centre! 🎉🎗️

As someone who has personally been through cancer treatment, this means more to me than I can put into words. To see our little pub and our wonderful community come together like that was truly humbling.

A huge thank you must go to my fantastic staff, who worked tirelessly all day with smiles on their faces. You were all amazing, but a special mention has to go to our Jodie… honestly, I don’t know what I’d do without you! 🤪💜

There was laughter, singing, talent, generosity, community spirit and plenty of memories made along the way. It was everything a community fundraiser should be.

One final thank you to everyone who supported us. You should all be incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together.

Now, next time someone has one of these brilliant ideas, can they please give me more than 10 days to organise it?! 🤣🤣
