I’m sure many of you may have already heard, but Durand was taken seriously unwell today at the pub and was blue-lighted to A&E.
Thankfully he is now receiving the care he needs, but he will need some time to rest and recover. ( well I’ll try make him rest lol but he’s bloody stubborn)
I want to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to some truly amazing people.
Firstly, to Matt Wheeler, who immediately stepped in and put Durand into the recovery position. I will be forever grateful for your quick thinking and kindness.
To Tyler, who was there when it all happened and acted quickly to call for help, thank you so much you were amazing.
To Lee, who rushed back to help when he heard what had happened, and to Laura, who has stepped up and holding it all together.
I also want to thank our fantastic customers, especially Gayle and her husband, who jumped behind the scenes to help with the kitchen and even washed pots to keep things running. Your kindness and willingness to help means more than you’ll ever know.
Today showed us exactly what community means.
The support, care and compassion shown by everyone in Kimberworth has been incredible. It is something I’ve genuinely never witnessed before, and I am overwhelmed with gratitude.
Thank you all for the love, support and concern you’ve shown towards my husband and our family. We appreciate every single one of you more than words can say.
❤️ Donna
