We go on about supporting pubs & independent breweries as something we're passionate about but there aren't many folk out there doing half as much as Dale from The Great British Pub Crawl

Great to catch you on your travels about Rochdale today, keep up the good work (lord knows our industry needs it at the moment!)

Cheers 🍻

Stop 3 is today's first revisit and the first of today's sponsors... the wonderful The Baum

A bit late in the evening for a post normally but some things are not meant for the daylight...

This Saturday The Baum Witch Project comes to life!

An evening of ghost stories, fancy dress & spooky specials, metamorphosising as the night descends into a full on Halloween party! Expect big tunes, cocktails, costume prizes & maybe even a themed b**r or two!

Get here early, it's gonna be dancing room only 👻

Did you know our head chef Andy used to run an Italian restaurant?

His Parpadelle di Manzo Funghi is featuring on the specials board at the minute & it's absolutely what you need in this weather.

Strips of beef with mushrooms, tomatoes & parmesan- it'll absolutely warm your cockles ♥️

Something wicked this way comes

Ghost stories, fancy dress and a frightfully good night at The Baum this Halloween. Who’s joining us?

18/10/2026

We don't like to toot our own horn but our chefs do a mean Sunday roast- big old yorkies & proper gravy that takes days to make- you can keep your chain pub carvery, we won't accept anything less than the real deal.

Some serious love & dedication goes into our favourite meal of the week 💚

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at The Baum!

Our new Christmas menu has landed and we’re rather excited about it!

That’s a huge dose of proper festive food, a warm hello, a glass of something lovely and a table full of your favourite people.

Whoever you choose to bring, we’re ready to celebrate with you!

The bookings are already rolling in… it’s October, we know. But you have to get those Christmas plans in the diary when you can!

We can’t wait to see you!
