💚WHAT AN AMAZING NIGHT! 💚

We just want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who came along and supported our fundraiser for Cornwall Hospice on Saturday night!

From the incredible generosity of everyone who donated prizes, cakes and auction items, to everyone who came along, bought cakes, bid in the auction, enjoyed a drink and simply helped make the evening such a success ! We couldn’t have done it without you! 🥰

A very special thank you has to go to Substitute - Cornwall 🎸🎶

What an absolute pleasure it was to have you play for us! You were fantastic and really helped create such a brilliant atmosphere. Not only did you entertain us all night, but you also got involved and helped us with the auction, which was hugely appreciated. 💚

You went above and beyond, and we honestly can't thank you enough. You helped make the night one to remember! 👏🎶

Well done to Robin Moore for all his hard work and MILES of walking he completed to raise money again this year.

Congratulations to Sean for winning our guess the bear competition and Loui for getting the closest guess on the count the jelly beans in the jar 🥳

We will share the final amount raised as soon as we have it……

And of course, a huge thank you to our AMAZING team who worked so hard behind the scenes to make everything happen!

We’re getting into the fundraising spirit today with our cake stall, raising money for Cornwall Hospice 💚

We’ve got lots of delicious homemade treats available, with prices from just £1.50 - £3.50. Why not pop in, grab a slice (or two 😉!) and help us raise as much as we can for a fantastic local cause.

🍽️ New specials are on now! 🍽️
With autumn arriving, we’ve got some hot specials to keep you warm!
🐔 Chicken à la King- Tender chicken chunks & onions cooked in a béchamel sauce, finished with garden peas and chopped parsley. Served with braised rice and garlic bread.
🥩 Steak and Stilton open ciabatta- rump steak (medium rare) topped with red onion marmalade and Stilton cheese. Served with dressed salad, rustic chips and house slaw.
🌿 Tarragon, dill & white bean stew- mixed winter vegetables in a vegetable veloute, confit garlic suet dumplings and freshly baked ciabatta with Cornish butter.

Raising money for Cornwall Hospice

Robin Moore is currently out walking the ‘Cornish Pilgrimage.’ He’s currently on day 8 of his 169-mile route through Cornwall.

This is all building up to our Charity event on Saturday 12th September…

Want to join Robin on the Gwennap Pilgrimage Walk?

9-mile walk starting at the Fox and Hounds 2pm (£10 Registration fee donated to the charity) and finishing around 6pm with plenty of stops along the way.

Don’t fancy the walk? Join us for a sweet treat whilst still helping a great cause. We’ll have a cake stall set up in the afternoon selling some delicious donated cakes and treats, all money going towards Cornwall Hospice.

In the evening, we have a section of fantastic donated prizes from local companies as well as some harvest produce to auction and raffle off.
