*Please share this post and save lives*. Take down the fake cobwebs!

Wildlife hospital Hedgehog Cabin has posted heartbreaking news of Eden the hedgehog.

Eden died after becoming trapped in the synthetic fibres of a fake spider’s web. Eden suffered agonising slow strangulation. She also had bite wounds to her face, as a predator tried to eat her alive while she was trapped.

The fine fibres are difficult for animals to see. When an animal gets trapped, the fibres tighten as she struggles to free herself.

Wildlife hospitals and rescue centres have a clear demand: Take down the cobwebs.
