From the band

Band Statement - please read. Last night the band arrived at New Continental in Preston, set up and had begun their sound check when a major power cut hit not only part of Preston but other parts of the region including Blackburn. Working closely with the venue, the band discussed various plans and tracked how long the Electricity Board would take to fix the problem. As the night progressed, it became clear that the electric outage was more serious than first perceived. Not only would the concert have to be cancelled but also the restaurant and bar would be unable to operate either. We therefore agreed to invite the audience into the concert hall at 8pm to update them on the situation and Mark[flute] and Rob[acoustic guitar] played a short impromptu unplugged group of tunes. The band would like to thank everyone - venue/audience for their support and understanding and promise to reorganise a date as soon as possible subject to availability. Tickets bought for last night's show will be valid for the new date. Thank you.
