The main event may be over, but we've still got plenty of incredible mix fermentation b**rs available - all of the kegs are still going and I'm too lazy to swap them out for our normal range - including loads of bottles...so many I couldn't be bothered pull them all out to take a photo. Imagine this, but with what feels like every Holy Goat bottle ever produced (that is hyperbole...but not by much), and several 750ml bottles that are hidden away.

Ferm trip is here! We"re celebrating the life and contributions of founder, Armand, to keeping the Lambic style alive along with our good chums and . We've got the blackberry Lambic from 3F pouring to start the weekend, alongside a pleated Lambic from Tilquin, and Astral Destiny from Holy Goat to come (just waiting for the Ayinger Kirtavier to kick), as well as a trove of bottles 🍾 it promises to be a banger of a weekend!

Introducing a weekend of marvelous mixed fermentation fabulousness.

3F are celebrating what would be the 75th anniversary of their founder, Armand, this weekend and are releasing a special 7 year 9ld Lambic as tribute, along with releasing loads of bottles from years gone by.

We thought this would be an excellent opportunity to celebrate all things mixed fermentation across three venues in Preston. Each venue will have a different 3F on draught, as well as kegs from other breweries such as Tilquin, Mills, and Holy Goat, as well as a huge range of bottles available, too.

Lambic lovers - this weekend is for you ♥️

Super-duper exclusive keg pouring now! Kegs of this are normally hard enough to get out of Rochefort, never mind here in the UK. Of the sixty kegs that made it over here, only one place in Lancashire has it pouring; us 🥳

First made in 2020, albeit based on a century old strong-ale recipe, Tripel Extra is gorgeously golden, subtly spiced, carefully citrus-ed, beautifully balanced, big bodied, and dangerously drinkable.

It's coming up to a year since my beautiful girlfriend (pictured) and I first tried this sitting in the cellars of Le Trappiste in Bruges, I dream of being back there with her, but I'll settle for being able to finish a shift with one for now 😅🍻

Considering we weren't expecting anything from High Street Heroes, we actually did rather well. Sorry it has taken so long to post this - I think I was still hungover yesterday 🤣

I got highly commended for leisure manager, and I'm still trying to figure out what my outstanding achievement is, but I also won an award for that. But I wouldn't have won either of those if I didn't have an amazing team behind me, which is how we also won Bar of the Year!

A huge thanks to everyone who voted for us, and a huger thanks to Luis, Simon, and my Dad for being legends without whom none of this would be possible.

One of us wasn't anywhere to be found when the photos were taken. If you look closely you might be able to tell who has been Photoshoped in 😅

We're getting suited an booted, not really hoping for much - but we're gunna have a great time regardless.

Typical that Beak, who make so few casks every year, release a brown ale the week after our Beak tap takeover for Preston Pub Festival.

The caramel biscuity-ness expected from a brown ale sings and is elevated by bright resinous notes from the citra hops. It's their first ever brown ale and of course they've bloody nailed it.

It's the last weekend of Okboterfest, so I'm definitely a little bit late promoting these.

As I do every year, I've got cases upon cases of the Augustiner, because it's the GOAT, but the other two have been selling quickly. I'd never had the Spaten before - it's way fruitier than I expected, and the Ayinger is everything you'd want from a marzen 🍻
