Set at the heart of the beautiful village of Stilton, The Talbot offers a wide range of alcoholic and soft drinks alongside an extensive, affordable menu of traditional pub grub. The lounge consists of a pool table, dart board, jukebox and 2 large TV screens showing live sport on Sky sports and BT sports. We have a large beer garden and patio to the rear with plenty of seating for those sunny days. FOOD AVAILABLE

We are seeking a part time experienced chef with an enthusiastic can-do approach to work within our small busy village pub kitchen, serving traditional pub food.

The ideal candidate will have:
- experience of working in a commercial kitchen
- strong kitchen management skills
- the ability to work independently, under pressure and take their own initiative
- good knowledge and understanding of food and food hygiene
- good communication skills with our front of house team
- flexibility, adaptability and reliability.

Basic food hygiene certificate is essential along with a good health and safety work ethic. Cleanliness and attention to detail is paramount.
