Well. What a rollercoaster of a semi final that was.
Starting with only ten players, we took the lead after 2 minutes when Craig Pritchard converted from the spot.
However, with not even ten minutes on the clock, what started as 11v10 became 10v9 as the ref sent an Oswestry takeaway player off, but also Craig Pritchard - nobody knows even this morning how and why Craig was given his marching orders.
We managed to defend unbelievably to frustrate Takeaway until the half hour mark, however, a penalty and then a defensive mix up put them 2-1 ahead.
The 9 lads heads didn’t drop though and in added time of the first half, Louis Pritchards determination saw him go through one on one and he slotted home. Half time, 2-2.
Within 15 minutes of the second half, we found ourselves 4-2 down, but still the lads didn’t give in.
Louis Pritchard added his 2nd of the game when teed up by Tristan Lloyd to make it 4-3.
A 2nd yellow for a takeaway player meant a third red card of the match, and the last 10 minutes were played 9v9.
It was foxes who almost got the 8th of the game when Trist beat the onrushing keeper to a bouncing ball to seemingly poke home, but for an excellent goal line clearance on the stroke of the final whistle.
Full time, 4-3.

A final word for the 10 Foxes lads who turned up and ran themselves into the ground for 95 minutes. So close to a miraculous win but it wasn’t to be.
