The Story of Luca Italian

If you allow yourself to get lost, wondering down the picturesque alleys of Venice, off the beaten track, you’ll soon be rewarded with little wine bars, known as bacari. With the locals standing at the bar, conversing and sipping bright orange drinks, snacking on small plates of authentic Venetian titbits, known as cicheti. In December 2021, we opened Luca in Liverpool and in April 2023 we open Luca at the Buck, Ormskirk. We hope that you'll lose yourself in the winding alleys and side streets of Ormskirk and get a taste of Venice as you walk into a little piece of Ormskirk's living history, The Buck I'Th Vine Pub. Stand at the bar or get cosy by the fire, enjoy the small plates we offer or bring the family and enjoy a meal together.
