IMPORTANT CUSTOMER NOTICE

We’re very sorry to announce that The Market Tavern is temporarily closed while an issue relating to the lease is resolved.

The previous operating company which held the lease has gone into liquidation, meaning a new lease now needs to be formally assigned. Unfortunately, after a lengthy review process with Knowsley Council, we have been informed of this situation at extremely short notice and over the Bank Holiday period.

We understand how disappointing and frustrating this will be for our customers, particularly those who had planned to visit us, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience.

Please be assured that we are working as quickly as possible to resolve the situation and reopen The Market Tavern. This is unfortunately a matter outside of our immediate control, but we will keep everyone updated as soon as we have further information.
