The Queens New Reign!
As we hope that Covid-19 has subsided and the opportunity to socialise again in our favourite boozers has been allowed, The Queens Head is proud to announce a new reign!
Hi Everyone! My name’s Vanessa and I will be the new landlady at your favourite local pub ;) A little about me: I was born and raised on the Wirral but L*O*V*E to travel so I didn’t stay put for long. Having worked in hospitality for over 10 years and after a lot of jet-setting I settled back home; right here in the UK. After recently co-running 2 pubs in Preston I am now excited to be fronting The Queens this July :D
Offering all your favourite drinks including cocktails & shots and a wide range of lagers with local ales on tap every week. We aim to please; so if there’s a drink not on the menu then feel free to ask the bar staff and we will do our best to accommodate!
As far as entertainment goes we have a pool table and juke box ready to go. I also hope to have a band every week (maybe twice weekly if we’re lucky ;) ) but bare with me as I make contacts and build up a band portfolio and I’ll be sure to add them to the schedule as soon as I can. On top of this I know you can be big sports fans so I will have Sky Sports available for as many games as possible, big or small.
